Three-point burst in loss
Olofsson scored two power-play goals on four shots and added an assist in Thursday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Oilers in Game 2.
ANALYSIS
Olofsson played a massive role in the Golden Knights' offense, but it still wasn't enough. His goals were his first playoff tallies in his career. The 29-year-old winger is at four points, 11 shots on net, eight hits and a minus-2 rating over six playoff appearances. Given his success in Game 2, it's unlikely he'll be exiting the lineup if the Golden Knights change their forward units for Game 3 in Edmonton on Saturday.

It's time for a change of scenery for Olofsson, as he was a frequent healthy scratch for the Sabres last year. Even when he did play, the 29-year-old winger struggled to produce, managing a meager 15 points in 51 appearances. It's a far cry from the player who reached the 40-point threshold in three of his first four seasons in the NHL. Much like the Golden Knights, who inked Olofsson to a one-year deal this summer, fantasy managers could try to buy low on the high-risk, high-reward winger, hoping he gets back to being a 40-point producer this upcoming campaign.

Getting chance to play with Eichel
Olofsson will get the first opportunity to play alongside Jack Eichel at training camp, Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
ANALYSIS
Olofsson and Eichel saw some time together when both were with the Sabres, so this is no surprise. Olofsson struggled last season with Buffalo, as he had only seven goals and 15 points in 51 regular-season games after managing three 20-goal seasons in the previous four campaigns.
