After spending the past four seasons in Columbus, Murray joined the Sharks as a free agent this past July. His role is that of a checker, which keeps his fantasy value at a minimum should he earn a spot on one of Team Teal's lower lines.
Fourth liner scored 5-2-7 in 46 games last season.
Fourth line grinder scored eight goals and 11 points in 67 games last season.
Murray made his NHL debut last season, playing in 39 games and making a solid contribution, but improved depth on the Blue Jackets roster could make it tough for Murray to crack the lineup again.
