Olsson was drafted 72nd overall by the Predators at the 2021 NHL Draft on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
It's easy to see why Olsson caught the eye of the Predators. A solid skater with the ability to play physically and make a good first pass, Olsson is at his best when he keeps it simple. He played 39 games in the SHL this past season as a 17/18-year-old and more than held his own. Olsson has a real chance to help Nashville down the line if expectations are kept in check. He's never likely to be a big point producer, but Olsson has a clear path to middle-pairing NHL regular status if he continues his development over the next couple seasons.
