ANALYSIS
Pierre Doiron and the rest of the Ottawa brass could care less about your rankings. The Senators have now made three picks in this draft and each of them would be termed a significant reach relative to where the players were projected to be selected, with Roger being the latest example. While 6-foot-4 defenders with decent foot speed will always be in high demand, Roger -- who is property of the OHL London Knights -- didn't play a single game this past season. He has two goals and six points in 36 career OHL games, so the Ottawa scouting staff must see something the rest of us are missing.
