Brett Seney

After dressing for 51 NHL games in 2018-19, Seney only played in two last year. Instead, he spent most of his time honing his craft with AHL Binghamton, where he racked up a respectable 19 goals and 44 points in 61 games. The 5-foot-9 winger hasn't shown much defensive aptitude, with a minus-15 rating at the NHL level and a minus-35 mark over parts of three AHL campaigns. His shortcomings in his own end could keep Seney from securing a bottom-six spot with New Jersey this year, though he's certainly in contention to win one with a strong camp.
