In 2025-26, Fleury saw more playing time than he had in any of his first four years with the Kraken. It was also his first NHL campaign with multiple points. He had a goal, two assists, 22 shots on net, 50 hits and 34 blocked shots over 23 appearances. Fleury offers some physicality, and he earned a little more trust than fellow extra blueliner Josh Mahura last year. Usage can vary for players in that role, and that makes Fleury too inconsistent to help in fantasy, especially given his documented lack of offense. Despite not getting much playing time in 2024-25, Fleury signed a two-year extension with the Kraken in June to once again serve as an extra defenseman. He's been fine in that role, stepping in for third-pairing minutes whenver injuries necessitate his presence in the lineup. Fleury was limited to one assist, 16 shots on net, 30 hits and 28 blocked shots over 14 appearances last season and added 26 points in 39 regular-season outings for AHL Coachella Valley. Barring significant injuries to Seattle's blue line, Fleury won't be a factor in fantasy this year.
