Hagelin is one of the league's fastest players and an excellent penalty killer, but those two traits have never led to much offensive production. Hagelin has never scored more than 17 goals (twice) in any one season, and his high-water mark since leaving the Rangers back in 2015-16 is just 14 goals. Oddly enough, 14 goals is his exact total over the past two years combined. Hagelin has two power-play points in his entire career and offers virtually no help in secondary categories such as hits and blocks. The 33-year-old Swede will continue to help the Capitals win hockey games, but fantasy managers in all formats should look elsewhere.
