Goloubef hasn't appeared in an NHL game since the 21019-20 campaign which he split between Ottawa and Detroit. The defender was always a long shot to break into the 23-man roster for Montreal and was destined to return to the minors with the Rocket. Unless the club signs him to an NHL contract down the road, Goloubef won't be eligible for a call-up.
