He most recently suited up for AHL Texas in 2020-21 and potted 11 goals while dishing out 17 assists across 36 contests. The 30-year-old winger hasn't appeared at the NHL level since the 2016-17 season, when he skated in four games for the Sabres.

The undrafted Schneider just couldn’t crack the Senators' lineup despite spending four very productive years with AHL Binghamton, but managed to squeeze in his first two NHL games with the Sabres following a late-season trade. Schneider is a strong, speedy winger with a nose for the net, but despite his AHL accomplishments, he'll have to battle for a roster spot at camp. Most likely, he'll be a top-six forward for AHL Rochester and mere depth for the Sabres, but there's some upside visible in his 56 points over 73 AHL games this past season.
