Leggio agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the Wolfsburg Grizzlys (DEL) on Monday.
ANALYSIS
Leggio has spent the past three seasons playing in Germany with EHC Munchen and will now switch to the Grizzlys. The 34-year-old netminder spent some time with a handful of NHL organizations, but never made it out of the AHL and it appears his career will finish out abroad.

Leggio could battle with David Poulin to see who starts in net for Bridgeport of the AHL but has no future with the Islanders unless there is a rash of injuries.
This player will have no fantasy value in 2013-14 and can be ignored in all formats.
Leggio earned a new contract with the Sabres after leading the AHL in saves in last season. He was named MVP of the Sabres' AHL affiliate in Rochester in his first season as their starter, posting a 28-24-2 record, and will continue to provide value at the AHL level this coming year. He could see his first NHL action in if injuries affect Ryan Miller or Jhonas Enroth.
Leggio, another Buffalo native, posted adequate numbers with AHL Portland last season in support of starter Jhonas Enroth. He has carved out a niche for himself as an adequate AHL backstop, and has to be happy that the Sabres have switched AHL affiliates back to Rochester, where he'll likely spend most of 2011-12.
