Dorrington signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Rangers on Sunday.
				  ANALYSIS
The Rangers acquired the rights to Dorrington in the deal that also brought J.T. Miller back to New York. The 20-year-old defenseman, a sixth-round pick of the Canucks in 2022, had two goals and 15 points in 37 games at the collegiate level this year with Northeastern. He will report to AHL Hartford on an amateur tryout for the remainder of the season.
