Lind signed a professional tryout agreement with the Lightning in mid-September, but he'll be let go following a two-week stint with the organization. He spent most of the 2025-26 campaign with AHL Texas, where he recorded 11 goals, 24 assists and 95 PIM across 70 regular-season appearances.

2018
Lind spent 2019-20 with AHL Utica, recording 14 goals and 44 points in 61 appearances. The second-round pick from 2017 has yet to make his NHL debut, but he was on the training camp roster for the NHL's Return to Play over the summer. The 22-year-old is likely a couple years away from becoming an option for the Canucks, and the team's strong overall forward depth could limit him to a bottom-six role when he makes the jump.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Might make NHL roster
Lind appears to be on course to win an NHL roster spot, according to Stars radio analyst Bruce LeVine on Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Lind has impressed at the AHL level over the past two campaigns, providing 47 goals, 127 points and 156 PIM across 141 regular-season games with Coachella Valley. He appeared in just one contest with Seattle over that same span, but now that he's with the Stars after signing a one-year, two-way deal with Dallas over the summer, Lind has a shot at a fresh start. However, Dallas' forward corps is deep enough that Lind would likely receive only fourth-line responsibilities if he does make the team, so he shouldn't be expected to make significant offensive contributions.
