Bourdon has suffered a setback in his recovery from concussion issues and is out indefinitely for AHL Adirondack, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
ANALYSIS
After a promising rookie campaign in 2011-12, the head injury kept Bourdon off the ice for the entirety of the lockout-shortened 2012-13 season and those issues have now cropped up again. He felt well enough to join the AHL squad last month, but after banging his head on the glass in just his seventh game, the headaches and dizziness resurfaced. The Flyers may just opt to shut him down at this point with the hope that he can reemerge as a contributor next season.

Bourdon saw very limited ice time in 2012-13 after suffering two concussions. The defenseman had decent numbers in his first stint with the Flyers in 2011-12, posting a modest plus-four rating and netting four goals in 45 games. If he can make the Flyers' roster, you can likely expect similarly modest production.
