ANALYSIS
Brome struggled to produce when in the Red Wings' lineup last season, picking up just two points in 26 games, so this news doesn't come as a surprise. The 26-year-old winger is expected to play for HC Davos of Switzerland's National League in 2021-22.

2020 Fantasy Outlook

Brome entered training camp brimming with confidence following eight seasons in his native Sweden. The Red Wings signed him to a one-year "show me" deal in April of 2020, and the fleet-footed winger cracked the Opening Night roster in a fourth-line capacity. Brome's rigid work ethic makes him a good fit in Motown, but his fantasy appeal will be minimal so long as he's outside the top six. After all, Detroit scored the fewest goals last season, and the Orignal Six club is still setting the foundation for a full rebuild.
