Matthew Stienburg

Stienburg’s 2024-25 campaign was cut short as a result of an upper-body injury he sustained in early November while he was in the minors. The 24-year-old (25 on Oct. 7) didn’t crack the scoresheet in eight regular-season appearances with the Avalanche, but he picked up 16 hits and 22 PIM, highlighting his potential as an enforcer, albeit in a limited sample size. Stienburg also had one goal and two helpers in five games with AHL Colorado during the 2024-25 regular season. The right-shot center re-upped with the organization on a one-year, two-way contract.
