Michael Misa

Selected second overall in 2025, Misa had some growing pains while playing most of 2025-26 in the NHL. He was brought along slowly at first, playing just seven of the Sharks' first 12 games. A lower-body injury wiped him out in November, and the Sharks allowed him to suit up for Canada at the World Junior Championship to ease him back into action. He had seven points in seven games while on international duty before taking on an everyday role in the second half of the NHL campaign, which he finished with nine goals, 12 assists, 58 shots on net and a minus-2 rating over 45 appearances. Misa will likely always be second fiddle to Macklin Celebrini in San Jose, but a future as a second-line center will work out well. Expect Misa to push for 30-35 points and 100-plus shots in 2026-27.
