Sgarbossa looks every bit like an in-between player, as he's racked up 105 points in 114 AHL games over the last two years, but he's only played in two NHL games over that same span. Sgarbossa will still get a chance to challenge for a bottom-six job in training camp, but it's more likely he once again spends the year in the bus league. At 28 years old, Sgarbossa is simply a good AHLer. Fantasy managers won't need to keep tabs on his performance, as he probably won't get much of a chance with the Capitals in 2020-21.
