2020 Fantasy Outlook
Lehtonen, 26, made a name for himself with 49 points in 60 contests with Jokerit Helsinki of the KHL last year. The Finn never showed that kind of production in previous stops throughout his native Finland in his career, but the eye-popping numbers in his lone KHL campaign were enough to get the Maple Leafs' attention. In 2020-21, he'll have a shot in training camp to earn a starting role on the blue line. Expectations for the six-foot defenseman should be modest -- 20 points and solid peripheral stats would likely be a successful debut for the late bloomer. However, he's not likely to score enough to interest fantasy managers in standard formats.
