Nick Ellis

After going undrafted and then posting a steady college career, Ellis signed an entry-level deal with the Oilers and went on to deliver respectable work with AHL Bakersfield -- a 16-12-1 record with a 2.69 GAA and .918 save percentage. The 23-year-old is third in line for NHL action behind workhorse Cam Talbot and backup Laurent Brossoit, which means he'll probably spend most of his 2017-18 campaign tightening up his game in the minors as the Condors’ No. 1 goalie.
