Nicolas Meloche

Meloche has yet to make his NHL debut, and he hasn't shown much at the AHL level, either, tallying just seven helpers in 41 games with the San Jose Barracuda last year. His chances of making the NHL roster hinge mostly on the Sharks' lack of right-handed defensive prospects entering 2020-21. He's posted 45 points in 154 career AHL games, but it will likely take injuries among the big club's blueliners for Meloche to get him into NHL action this year.
