Latest Fantasy Rumors
Hopes to re-sign
Acciari, who is set to become an unrestricted free agent July 1, would like to re-sign with Toronto, NHL.com's Dave McCarthy reports.
ANALYSIS
Acciari started the 2022-23 campaign with St. Louis, picking up 10 goals, 18 points and a whopping 168 hits through 54 contests. The 31-year-old American was then traded to Toronto in mid-February -- he went on to notch five points and 76 hits through 23 regular-season contests before adding two goals and an eye-popping 78 hits through 11 playoff appearances. If he does land a new deal with the Maple Leafs, it will likely be of the short-term variety.

Banged up all season long, Acciari played in just 20 games in what would be his final season with the Panthers. He scored just three goals and eight points, while his average ice time dipped by nearly three and a half minutes to 11:59 per game. Acciari entered unrestricted free agency this past summer, ultimately inking a one-year deal with the Blues. The 30-year-old Rhode Island native has been a solid cheap source of hits in years past, but you can probably find a better option on draft day given Acciari's recent injury woes.
