Rybar signed a one-year, entry-level contract with the Red Wings in May to solidify the organization's depth at the goalie position. The lanky tender -- he's listed at 6-foot-2 and 154 pounds -- went 45-26-0 with a .926 save percentage over the last two seasons with Hradec Kralove in the Czech league; while those are impressive figures, he'll presumably need a perfect storm in training camp to bypass the AHL and serve as the backup to Jimmy Howard this year.
