Taylor (hip) will not play in Saturday's game in Atlanta, the Tampa Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Saturday's game was the last chance for him to end his 13-year career on the ice. Although he is likely healthy enough to play, he said he would rather remember the Game 6 loss to New Jersey in the 2007 playoffs as his last game than a season-ending matchup with nothing at stake. He hopes to remain a part of the Lightning organization to some capacity, possibly scouting for the club in his native Canada.

Taylor will be out the entire 2007-2008 season following hip surgery. He believes he'll return sooner but we think this is the end for a valiant plugger.
