ANALYSIS
Rykov spent the 2020-21 campaign playing in the KHL for CSKA Moscow in which he garnered nine assists in 49 contests. Selected by the Devils in the fifth round of the 2016 NHL Draft, it seems unlikely the 24-year-old blueliner will ever become an NHL player at this point and figures to close out his career in the KHL.
