Booked for UFC Moscow
WelterweightUFC
September 16, 2019
Imadaev (8-1-0) is scheduled to face Danny Roberts (16-5-0) in a welterweight fight Nov. 9 at UFC Moscow.
ANALYSIS
Imadaev will be fighting on home soil as he looks to rebound from the first loss of his MMA carer back in April, when he lost to Max Griffin in a majority decision in his promotional debut at UFC 236. He'll draw a matchup with a reeling fighter in Roberts, who has lost his last two bouts and owns a middling 5-4 record in the Octagon.

Imadaev (8-1-0) is slated to take on Salim Touahri (10-3-0) in a welterweight bout at UFC Newark on Aug. 3, Nolan King of MMAJunkie.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The 24-year-old Russian will return to the Octagon just under four months after suffering a third-round loss via majority decision to Max Griffin at UFC 236. Touahri will also be seeking his first win with the promotion after dropping fights to Warlley Alves and Keita Nakamura in October 2017 and December 2018, respectively.
Suffers first loss in UFC debut
WelterweightUFC
April 13, 2019
Imadaev lost to Max Griffin via majority decision (27-29, 27-29, 28-28) at UFC 236 on Saturday in Atlanta.
ANALYSIS
Imadaev's UFC debut didn't start well. Referee George Allen (correctly) took a point from him for grabbing the fence during a takedown attempt from Griffin in the early going. It ended up not mattering given the judge's scores, but it set the tone for a wacky, physical affair. Imadaev's cardio didn't look good at all and he simply didn't have the energy to take advantage of an equally exhausted Griffin. It was Imadaev's first pro loss.
Gets the UFC call
WelterweightUFC
March 12, 2019
Imadaev will take on Max Griffin in a welterweight battle at UFC 236 on April 13, Brett Okamoto of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Imadaev is a highly-respected prospect with a professional record of 8-0, with each victory coming by way of KO/TKO. Seven were listed as "punches," with one spinning back elbow mixed in for good measure. The 24-year-old gets a tough draw in his debut fight, however, though the 33-year-old Griffin hasn't had a ton of success of late. Griffin is just 2-4 under the UFC banner, losing his UFC debut to title contender Colby Covington while picking up losses to Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos, Curtis Milender and Thiago Alves as well.
