Carlston Harris

Scores another stoppage win
September 18, 2021
Harris defeated Impa Kasanganay via TKO (punches) at 2:38 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
That's two straight stoppage victories for Harris to begin his UFC run. After submitting Christian Aguilera in his company debut this past May, Harris made a statement with his power in this fight. After a brief exchange which saw both men connect, Harris torched Kasanganay with a massive left hand that sent him crumbling to the ground. He kept pushing forward and fired off some additional shots before referee Mark Smith had decided he had finally seen enough. Our exposure to Harris is obviously extremely small, but the early results have been very positive. Keep an eye on the 34-year-old.

Harris made his promotional debut in May, defeating Christian Aguilera in the first round via submission at UFC on ESPN 24 in Las Vegas. Though he received a six-month medical suspension after sustaining a rib injury in the bout, Harris has apparently gained clearance from a doctor to return to the Octagon earlier than anticipated.

Easy submission win in debut
May 8, 2021
Harris defeated Christian Aguilera via submission (anaconda choke) at 2:52 of Round 1 at UFC on ESPN 24 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
It's Harris' fourth straight win and his eight in his past nine fights dating back to August 2016. Harris clocked Aguilera with a couple big shots before transitioning to the beautiful anaconda choke that ended the fight. It was quite a performance from the 33-year-old newcomer in his company debut. Harris doesn't have much of a following, but he does have victories on his resume over current UFC fighters. He defeated Wellington Turman back in December 2016, and most impressively, took a unanimous decision from Michel Pereira in November 2015. He'll also walk away with a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus for his efforts here.
