Withdraws after Ladd injury
June 21, 2020
McMann will not fight at the UFC's June 27 event after opponent Aspen Ladd suffered a knee injury, Damon Martin of reports.
McMann will be removed from the card rather than get a replacement opponent for next weekend's event. As such, McMann will have to wait a bit longer to make her return to the octagon after having taken a nearly two-year hiatus following the birth of her second child.

Fight against Ladd expected
May 18, 2020
McMann has a fight against Aspen Ladd in the works for June 27, Mike Bohn of USA Today reports.
There is no set location yet for this bout, but McMann and Ladd have apparently agreed to face off versus one another as part of the event. McMann recently returned from a nearly two-year hiatus after giving birth to her second child. She won her return fight over Lina Lansberg and now holds a 6-5 UFC record. She will have a challenge with Ladd (4-1), the No. 3 ranked fighter in the division.
Dominant in return
January 26, 2020
McMann defeated Lina Lansberg via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-26, 20-25) at UFC Raleigh on Saturday.
Despite McMann missing nearly two calendar years due to pregnancy and injury, she looked the least bit rusty in this matchup. The 39-year-old recorded 38 significant strikes, three takedowns and seven advances, while Lansberg only mustered a single significant strike in the 15-minute affair. Any one of the three frames could have been a 10-8 round for McMann. It might be a little late for another run at the belt, but McMann certainly merits a better opponent her next time out.
Booked for UFC Raleigh
November 20, 2019
McMann (undisclosed) will fight Lina Lansberg at UFC Raleigh on Jan. 25, reports.
McMann is ready to return to the octagon after an undisclosed injury forced her to withdraw from her most recent bout against Nicco Montano in July. It's tough to know what to expect from the 39-year-old, as she hasn't fought since February of 2018 and hasn't claimed victory since February of 2017. McMann's opponent, Lansberg, is coming off a victory over Macy Chiasson in September via unanimous decision.
Scratched with injury
June 19, 2019
McMann has been scratched from UFC Sacramento due to injury, reports.
McMann reportedly suffered an injury while training and will be forced to skip the event versus Nicco Montano. Julianna Pena is expected to replace McMann on the card, while the 38-year-old, who last fought in February of last year, may be nearing the end of her career.
Fighting Montano in Sacramento
May 14, 2019
McMann will take on Nicco Montano in a bantamweight matchup at UFC Sacramento on July 13.
McMann has lost her past two fights in the second round, each via submission, but don't count the 38-year-old out just yet. She had been on a three-fight winning streak prior to that skid, and has shared the cage with three former champions over the course of her career (though all resulted in defeat). This time around, McMann will welcome Nicco Montano up to the bantamweight division, and hold a one-inch advantage in both height and reach. Montano had previously been scheduled for a title shot at flyweight but was unable to make the weight without complications, resulting in a move up in weight class. While McMann has been with the UFC since the introduction of women's divisions, her time could very well be nearing a close if she loses her third consecutive fight.
