Hood has signed a multi-fight deal with the World Series of Fighting, MMAFighting.com reports.

Hood was inked to the WSOF heavyweight roster on the same day as Shawn Jordan, but unlike Jordan, he does not have any experience in the top-tier promotions such as the UFC. "The Dream Killer" was awfully close to making a debut for Bellator last August, but ultimately had to withdraw shortly before the event due to a knee injury. At 27 years old, Hood's best years could very well be ahead of him. For now, he will simply provide roster depth.
