Light HeavyweightUFC
January 15, 2017
Christensen defeated Bojan Mihajlovic via TKO (strikes) at 3:39 of Round 3 at UFC Fight Night 103 in Phoenix on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Christensen showed himself to be the far better striker in this fight, getting the better of Mihajlovic in the exchanges before catching him with an uppercut that sent him to the ground. Christansen still needs defensive work, as he got hit with a few of the Serbian's winging hooks, but was able to turn in a dominant performance overall. Christiansen improves to 14-4 (1-1 in the UFC) as a result of the victory.

Christensen lost to Henrique Da Silva via submission (armbar) at 4:43 of round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Portland, Ore.
ANALYSIS
Christensen came into the UFC riding a five-fight winning streak. That came to an end right here. He was able to participate in a back-and-forth firefight, but he was not able to catch a win. Early in the fight, he was getting beaten up on the feet by Da Silva. In the second round, Christensen scored a knockdown, but he ended up getting swept and submitted. He will need to improve to keep his spot in the UFC.
