Garcia will square off against Peter Barrett at the Aug. 8 event in Las Vegas, MMAJunkie.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Garcia's debut back in February came on short notice, but he still managed to take it the distance despite falling via unanimous decision. He should have the full training regimen this time around as he prepares to take on Barrett, who will be making his own debut at the event. Garcia sports a two-inch height and reach advantage over his opponent, so look for him to attempt to keep his opponent at a distance.

Garcia lost to Luis Pena via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Norfolk, Virginia.
ANALYSIS
In for an injured Alex Munoz on extremely short notice, Garcia looked like a guy who wasn't prepared to fight. He struggled to get on track offensively throughout the course of the bout and was swept on the judge's scorecards despite attempting 153 total strikes compared to Pena's 95. A product of Dana White's Contender Series, Garcia certainly earned some good will with the UFC brass for stepping in and saving this fight. We'll see the 27-year-old JacksonWink product again.

Garcia will take on Luis Pena in a lightweight matchup at UFC Norfolk on Feb. 29, MMAJunkie.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Pena was initially scheduled to take on Alex Munoz, but he withdrew from the fight with an undisclosed injury. As a result, Garcia will step in for the matchup with only several days of notice. Garcia defeated Desmond Torres at Dana White's Contender Series in August but failed to be signed at that point after he missed weight for the fight. Pena is 2-2 under the UFC banner, most recently losing to Matt Frevola via split decision at UFC Tampa in October. Pena carries a slight advantage in height heading into the matchup.
Suffers setback against Joe Warren at Bellator 181

Garcia lost to Joe Warren via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) at Bellator 181 on Friday in Thackerville, Okla.
ANALYSIS
Garcia was hoping to pull off the upset here. He came into this fight with four wins in Bellator, but he struggled against Warren. The world champion wrestler dominated the fight with his takedowns and positions against the cage. Garcia was clearly frustrated for long stretches of the fight. He even resorted to elbowing Warren's forarms to try to break a clinch. It did not work. Garcia will likely need to improve his wrestling considering there are several strong wrestlers in Bellator's bantamweight division.
Gets back on track against Ronnie Lawrence

Garcia defeated Ronnie Lawrence via decision (unanimous) (29-28, 30-27, 30-27) at Bellator 162 on Friday in Memphis, Tenn.
ANALYSIS
Garcia came into this fight coming off his first professional defeat. He had a sizable reach advantage, and he used it to mostly stay on the edge and land with kicks and unorthodox strikes. He ate a few more shots than his coaches probably liked, but he got the job done. In the first round, he scored with a push kick to the liver that hurt Lawrence. With about a minute left in the fight, Garcia dropped his opponent to seal the round and the fight.
