Gets December fight booked

September 29, 2020
Braga Neto will fight Deron Winn in a middleweight matchup at the UFC event Dec. 19, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA reports.
ANALYSIS
Braga Neto will making his first trip to the Octagon since December of 2017 when he lost to Trevin Giles via TKO to fall to 1-2 in the UFC. Winn is also coming off a loss back in March and owns a 1-2 UFC record as well. Winn has been aggressive with his wrestling early on in his UFC career, but that will be a dangerous tactic against Braga Neto, who has accumulated seven of his nine professional wins by way of submission. Braga Neto will also enter this fight with massive advantages of seven inches in both height and reach. The long layoff here is the biggest question mark for the 32-year-old Brazilian, who would seemingly otherwise be the favorite on paper.
