Takes decision win from Juan Adams
Bhullar defeated Juan Adams via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Ottawa.
ANALYSIS
Bhullar got lucky. It's not very often that you get out landed by a 2:1 count and managed to emerge with a unanimous decision victory on the scorecards. Bhullar locked up the win with a pair of successful takedowns, but his inactivity is a real concern moving forward. Bhullar is extremely marketable but his offensive game is limited and he has just 10 professional fights under his belt at age 33 (next week). Bhullar is 3-1 in the UFC, but there isn't a whole heck of a lot to see here.

Facing Juan Adams at UFC Ottawa
Bhullar (8-1-0) is scheduled to take on Juan Adams (5-0-0) in a heavyweight clash May 4 at UFC Ottawa, Aaron Bronsteter of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Bhullar carries a 2-1 UFC record into the fight, with his most recent victory coming in October at UFC Moncton, where he defeated Marcelo Golm in a unanimous decision. The undefeated Adams, meanwhile, will look to earn his second win as a member of the promotion after defeating Chris de la Rocha via TKO in December at UFC Milwaukee.

Seals victory at UFC Moncton with third-round takedown
Bhullar defeated Marcelo Golm via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-27) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Moncton, New Brunswick.
ANALYSIS
Bhullar really wanted to get this fight on the ground. The former wrestler pressed forward, but he was not able to get the fight on the ground until the third round. However, apparently his pressing forward was enough to sway in the judges. In the third round, he sealed the fight with a takedown and from work from the top. Bhullar improves to 2-1 in the UFC.

Will face Golm at UFC Moncton
Bhullar will return to the Octagon on Oct. 27 against Marcelo Golm at UFC Moncton, Guilherme Cruz of MMA.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Bhullar is 1-1 since making his debut in the Octagon last September, first defeating Luis Henrique via decision before tapping to an omoplata against Adam Wieczorek in his second bout. He'll look to push his record above .500 against Marcelo Golm, who will also be making his third appearance under the UFC banner and is 1-1 with the promotion.

Suffers crushing submission loss to Adam Wieczorek
Bhullar lost to Adam Wieczorek via submission (omoplata) at 1:59 of Round 2 at UFC on FOX 29 on Saturday in Glendale, Arizona.
ANALYSIS
The first loss of Bhullar's professional career is a crushing one for both himself and the UFC as a whole. The UFC was hoping to use Bhullar's successes to increase popularity in India and the surrounding countries, but his loss on Saturday will put a halt, or at least delay those plans. Bhullar looked darn good prior to the finish. He landed 39 total strikes compared to just 13 from Wieczorek and he scored two takedowns that led to 5:23 worth of control time. The UFC would be smart to get Bhullar back into the cage as quickly as possible.
