Schaub will be taking a sabbatical from the UFC, MMAFighting.com reports.

Schaub announced the news himself on the Joe Rogan podcast. Citing his burgeoning entertainment career and his unwillingness to sign the UFC's uniform deal with Reebok, Schaub has decided to step away from fighting for the time being. If he wants to pursue an entertainment career, that's one thing, but refusing to fight just because you don't want to wear the Reebok fight kit seems awfully foolish. Schaub will probably be back eventually, but he seems committed to an extended period of time on the sidelines.
