Pressures his way to a decision victory at PFL 3
Santos defeated Sadibou Sy via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at PFL 3 on Thursday in Washington, DC.
ANALYSIS
The styles and body types made this a tough fight for both. Santos wanted to close the distance, land hard strikes and go for the occasional takedown. However, Sy is incredibly long for the middleweight division. For the most part, he was able to keep his opponent on the outside. With that being said, he did not take advantage of the opportunities and did not throw many strikes. Santos took this decision off coming forward and scoring a takedown in the third round.
