Draws with Sadibou Sy in a highly questionable decision
Santos fought to a majority draw with Sadibou Sy (20-18, 19-19, 19-19) at PFL 10 on Saturday in Washington, D.C.
ANALYSIS
One thing you can say about Santos is that he wins decisions. Since 2009 all of his wins have been decisions. However, in this fight, the judges did not see it his way. He basically tried for takedowns for this entire fight. He spent most of the first round trying to get a takedown, and he finally scored one about halfway through the second. He did not do very much with the position, but this fight had very little action. The judges had no business allowing Sy to advance in the tournament.

Santos defeated Sadibou Sy via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at PFL 3 on Thursday in Washington, DC.
ANALYSIS
The styles and body types made this a tough fight for both. Santos wanted to close the distance, land hard strikes and go for the occasional takedown. However, Sy is incredibly long for the middleweight division. For the most part, he was able to keep his opponent on the outside. With that being said, he did not take advantage of the opportunities and did not throw many strikes. Santos took this decision off coming forward and scoring a takedown in the third round.
