Njokuani lost to Michal Oleksiejczuk via TKO (punches) at 4:16 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Singapore.
ANALYSIS
It was a wild, back-and-forth affair for as long as it lasted. Njokuani certainly landed his fair share of shots in the brief bout, but he also gave up a takedown and ate a massive right hand from Oleksiejczuk, which essentially finished him on the spot. In desperate need of a win, it would have been nice to see Njokuani fight a bit smarter or employ a different game plan, but that's not who he is. The 34-year-old has now lost three straight dating back to September 2022, including two via knockout.

Picks up second straight loss
Njokuani lost to Albert Duraev via split decision (28-29, 29-28, 28-29) at UFC on ESPN 43 on Saturday in San Antonio.

An explosive striker by trade, Njokuani was unable to consistently create space against the aggressive Duraev. His best chance of winning this fight would have been to stand at distance and engage his opponent in a brawl, but it never materialized. Instead, Njokuani was credited with just 40 significant strikes landed over the course of the 15-minute bout. Neither man accomplished a ton over the final two rounds, but the first round clearly went to Duraev, and that was enough to doom Njokuani.
