Shows up in submission loss
Nolan lost to Baysangur Susurkaev via submission (rear-naked choke) at 2:01 of Round 2 at UFC 319 on Saturday in Chicago, Illinois.
ANALYSIS
Nolan came out of the gate looking like a fighter who was ready to win, pressuring Susurkaev and wobbling him with a big strike at the end of Round 1. Ultimately, however, "Hunter" just had more ways to win, as he dragged Nolan to the ground and sunk in the choke after landing some big shots of his own. As Nolan took this fight with only a few days' notice, he will almost certainly get another fight with the promotion. This could make him worth watching, as he showed signs of being an aggressive and powerful kickboxer. He falls to 8-4-0 in professional MMA as a result of the loss.
