Looks terrible in return from two-year suspension
Sullivan lost to Niko Price via submission (rear-naked choke) at 4:21 of Round 2 at UFC on FOX 27 on Saturday in Charlotte.
ANALYSIS
Sullivan's return from a two-year absence due to anti-doping violations was a disaster. Never known as a particularly skilled fighter to begin with, Sullivan looked like a 36-year-old that hadn't fought in some 24 months. Between the suspensions and lack of production (his last win came in July 2015), there is really no reason for the UFC to keep The Silencer around. Look for him to be released in the near future.

Set to return from suspension against Niko Price
Sullivan (suspension) will face Niko Price in a welterweight fight at UFC on FOX 27 in North Carolina on Jan. 27, Marc Raimondi of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Sullivan is finally set to return to action after sitting out two years due to a couple of anti-doping policy violations. Prior to his suspension, Sullivan lost his last fight via knockout to Alexander Yakovlev at UFC on FOX 18 in January of 2016. He'll face an opponent in Price who is coming off his only professional loss (10-1, 1 NC), a second-round submission defeat to Vicente Luque at UFC Sao Paolo in October.

Suspended for another year
Sullivan failed a drug test and will be suspended for his second UFC anti-doping policy violation, Damon Martin of Fox Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Sullivan was originally expected to be eligible for return on July 10 of this year, but this possibility will now be moved to Jan. 14. This time around, the drugs found in his system were medically prescribed, even though they are prohibited under the UFC's anti-doping policy. This is why it was "determined that Sullivan's degree of fault was reduced because his use of Clomiphene Citrate was under the care of his physician," which is why his suspension was reduced from two years, down to one.

Could be facing second UFC anti-doping policy violation
Sullivan failed his most recent drug test and is now facing a second UFC anti-doping policy violation, Marc Raimondi of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Sullivan is currently still serving his a one-year suspension due to his first anti-doping policy violation. He now could be facing at least another two-year suspension or more, depending on how the appeal process shakes out.

Facing discipline from USADA
Sullivan did not fight at UFC on FOX 20 on Saturday due to a potential compliance issue with the new anti-doping policy, MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
A failed drug test isn't the only thing that can put a fighter on USADA's radar, and that appears to be the case with Sullivan, who had not failed a test. His removal from Saturday's card is described as precautionary, as USADA is expected to conduct an investigation. While the date of Sullivan's next fight remains in limbo, his originally-scheduled opponent, Hector Urbina, will look to be re-booked in the near future.
