Pascu lost to Lorenz Larkin via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at Bellator 207 on Friday in Uncasville, Conn.

ANALYSIS
After getting mostly outwrestled in his Bellator debut, Pascu actually got a chance to show what he can do against Larkin. Unfortunately for him, Larkin is much more skilled striker. Pascu landed some shots on the feet, but Larkin kept distance with his kicks and jabs. He basically controlled the fight. Pascu tried to go to his wrestling, but he did not have very much success until the final round. At that point, the fight was basically decided.

ANALYSIS
Pascu took this fight on short notice and was clearly an underdog. He held his own at points in this fight, but he could not handle the wrestling of the former college wrestler. As a 35-year-old fighter, Pascu pretty much it what he is at this stage of his career. However, Bellator is making more and more trips to Europe, so he might get brought back for another fight. Pascu had been scheduled to return at BAMMA 35 against Alex Lohore prior to taking this fight, it is currently unknown if he will stay on that card.
