Jones-Lybarger lost to Nina Ansaroff via submission (rear-naked choke) at 3;39 of Round 3 at UFC Fight Night 103 on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Jones-Lybarger was finding a home for her overhand right in round 1, but was ultimately overmatched by the harder and more technical strikes of Ansaroff. Jones-Lybarger was floored by a leg kick in the third frame, which allowed Ansaroff to work her ground striking before sinking in the choke. It was the first time the 31-year-old had been finished in 10 professional fights. Jones-Lybarger is a willing striker, but seems to be a step slow for most of the women at 115 pounds. That, combined with a lack of power, has resulted in an 0-3 record in the UFC. Whether she will remain with the company after this latest disappointment remains to be seen.

Jones-Lybarger lost to Randa Markos via unanimous decision (28-29, 27-30, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Ottawa.
ANALYSIS
Much like her first UFC fight against Tecia Torres, Jones-Lybarger was competitive, but she just didn't land enough to earn the judge's decision. Jones-Lybarger is taller, and is going to have a reach advantage over most every 115-pounder, but she isn't a good athlete and she hasn't showed an ability to use either of those attributes to her advantage on a consistent basis. Even with an 0-2 record in the UFC, it seems likely that Jones-Lybarger will get one more opportunity to showcase her skills, although it's far from guaranteed.
Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger: Drops UFC debut to Tecia Torres Saturday in Vegas

Jones-Lybarger lost to Tecia Torres via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC 194 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Considering she was making her UFC debut on three weeks notice against the #5 ranked strawweight in the world, Jones-Lybarger looked fairly competent, but it was still a clear loss. Despite being the much taller fighter and having a significant reach advantage, Jones-Lybarger had a problem catching up with the much quicker Torres. Still, there’s something to be said for going the full 15 minutes against the very talented Torres. Jones-Lybarger is going to get another fight with the company. There are certainly women in the UFC’s strawweight division that she can beat.

Jones-Lybarger will enter her strawweight fight against Tecia Torres as a +260 underdog at UFC 194 on Saturday in Las Vegas, Nevada.
ANALYSIS
The fight can arguably be seen as a win-win scenario for Jones-Lybarger. UFC brass has made known their adoration of fighters stepping up on short notice, and accepting a fight three weeks in advance would certainly constitute short notice. Jones-Lybarger will make her octagon debut after a 4-0 run in the RFA promotion, including a win over Bellator's only 115-pound Women's Champion, Zoila Frausto.
