Nunes is scheduled to compete in a bantamweight fight against Chelsea Chandler at the UFC's Vegas event on March 16, per Damon Martin of MMAFighting.com.

Nunes defeated Zarah Fairn via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC 283 on Saturday in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
ANALYSIS
Nunes walked away with the victory she came for, but it was a truly underwhelming effort in one of the least-technical fights you will ever see. Giving up a whopping seven inches in height to her opponent, Nunes struggled to get inside and land with consistency. She spent the entire fight firing off reckless combinations, some of which landed due to Fairn's poor striking defense. Nunes certainly didn't look the part of a -550 favorite. The Brazilian's future isn't as bright as her perfect 3-0 mark with the UFC would lead you to believe.

Nunes has legitimate power in her hands, but she is the type of fighter who is willing to eat a strike in order to land two of her own, and that almost never ends well. She was able to cruise past Pascual based on raw talent alone, yet that won't be the case moving forward. Nunes needs to learn how to pick her spots better, something that won't be easy considering she is short for the division at 5-foot-3. In the here and now, Nunes has racked up back-to-back wins to begin her UFC run.
