Drops Bellator debut to Georgi Karakhanyan
Medvedovsky lost to Georgi Karakhanyan via TKO (Injury) at 3:40 of round 1 at Bellator 164 on Thursday in Tel Aviv, Israel
ANALYSIS
Medvedovsky was originally brought in to be an opponent for Irish prospect James Gallagher. After the promotion moved Gallagher to the upcoming Dublin show, his debut actually got more difficult, Karakhanyan, a former World Series of Fighting champion, is by far the best fighter that Medvedovsky has faced. The Israeli fighter tried to unleash some spinning kicks on the feet, but he was unable to control distance. He was unable to stop takedowns and only really played defense on the ground. The fight ended after an apparent shoulder injury, but Medvedovsky was behind the entire fight.
