Looking at release after Saturday's loss
Kwak lost to Russell Doane via TKO (punches) at 4:09 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Kallang, Singapore.
ANALYSIS
A second straight dreadful effort from Kwak to begin his UFC career. After dropping a decision to Brett Johns in November, things got no better on Saturday. Kwak tried to attack with leg kicks early. A few landed, but he couldn't handle one big combination from Doane. He might not get a third opportunity with the company.

Drops decision against Brett Johns
Kwak lost to Brett Johns via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
ANALYSIS
Kwak was able to land solid strikes at the beginning of the first and third rounds. His quick footwork gave Johns a lot of problems. However, Kwak could not handle Johns' wrestling. He was taken down in all three rounds. In the first round, he routinely got back to his feet, but Johns would send him right back to the mat. In order to be successful in the UFC bantamweight division, Kwak will need to seriously improve his takedown defense.
