Davis lost to Marcos Galvao via split decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28) at Bellator 166 on Friday in Thackerville, Okla.
ANALYSIS
After two rounds of struggling with Galvao's clinches and takedowns, Davis was the fresher and more active fighter in the final round. Unfortunately, Galvao was too savy to eat any hard strikes. Davis bounced around on the outside and did enough to win the final round. However, the decision still belonged to Galvao. Davis has now dropped back-to-back fights after begining his Bellator career with three-straight wins.

Davis will enter his bantamweight fight with Joe Warren as a +150 underdog at Bellator 143 on Friday in Hidalgo, Texas.
ANALYSIS
Davis is riding momentum into his match with Warren, most recently winning a must-see fight against Hideo Tokoro. LC is a well-rounded fighter, owning a near identical array of wins by KO/TKO, submission, and decision. The American Top Team fighter has faced top competition over his nine year career, but will perhaps face his biggest test in Warren.

Davis will fight Joe Warren in Bellator 143 on Sept. 25, Brett Okamoto of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Davis comes in as the early favorite against Warren since Davis has rattled off three-straight wins whereas Warren most recently loss by kneebar submission to Marcos Galvao in Bellator 135. Although, the saving grace for Warren may be that Davis won his last two fights by a decision, one of which was split against Hideo Tokoro, also during Bellator 135.
