Mark Eddiva

FeatherweightUFC
March 19, 2016
Eddiva lost to Dan Hooker via submission (guillotine choke) at 1:24 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Brisbane, Australia.
ANALYSIS
Hooker is a talented opponent and Eddiva didn't really do anything wrong that led to the finish, but it seems unlikely that will save him from being released. Facing a more talented opponent with a better all-around game, Eddiva was submitted after trying to force Hooker up against the cage during an exchange on the feet. Eddiva won his first UFC fight against someone named Jumabieke Tuerxun, but he has lost all three of his fights since then. There is zero reason for the UFC to keep him around.
