Well, that's one way to make your UFC debut. There isn't a ton to break down here from a technical standpoint. Simply put, Semelsberger threw one massive shot that connected and knocked Sano unconscious. Few expected Sano to win considering he entered as a +385 underdog, but the fact he only lasted 15 seconds is highly concerning. Sano struggled to keep this fight on the feet. Herzog attempted many times to drag the fight to the ground, and Sano was mostly on the defensive.
