Yahya will fight Brendon Marotte at UFC Saudi Arabia in a lightweight bout on March 2, according to Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Despite struggling in his UFC debut, Yahya will receive a second opportunity to fight in the Middle East, this time in the UFC's first card in Saudi Arabia. Marotte is also trying to redeem himself after suffering a 20-second TKO at the hands of Terrance McKinney.
Struggles in UFC debut

Yahya lost to Trevor Peek via unanimous decision (28-29, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC 294 on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.
ANALYSIS
A native of the UAE and fighting in his home country, the 29-year-old Yahya didn't show much in his UFC debut. His striking output was low and he appeared to have all sorts of issues matching the strength of Peek at the point of attack. Yahya is known for his power, with seven of his dozen career wins coming via knockout, but he was simply unable to consistently threaten his opponent on this night. Peek is a solid opponent but not a top-tier guy, and the fact Yahya struggled to this extent in this fight does not bode well for future success with the company.

Yahya will take on Trevor Peek in a lightweight matchup at UFC 294 on October 21, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Yahya will be making his official UFC debut, though he has plenty of experience, with 15 pro fights and a 12-3 overall record. He once competed under the Bellator banner briefly, though he spent his last eight fights with UAE Warriors, under which he's compiled a 7-1 record. Yahya now draws a relative newcomer in Peek, who is 1-1 and will be fighting for the third time in 2023. Yahya has a three-inch reach advantage, and being a UAE native, should have the home crowd behind him in Abu Dhabi.
Picks up first-round stoppage in his Bellator debut

Yahya defeated Ashley Griffiths via TKO (punches) at 3:26 of Round 1 at Bellator 191 on Friday in Newcastle, England.
ANALYSIS
Bellator stepped outside of their normal talent pool and signed a fighter from the United Arab Emirates. They also went out of their way to give Yahya a soft touch in his debut. Griffiths came into this fight on a three-fight losing streak. He had some moments early with a takedown, but he gave up position. Once Yahya had an opening, he landed some ground and pound. The punches did not look particularly hard, but the strikes were more than enough to finish Girffiths. It is hard to actually gauge Yahya's skill in this fight, but he did score the victory in his Bellator debut.
