He's not the most talented welterweight on the UFC roster, but guts and determination can go a long way. Dalby took everything Bonfim threw his way and continued to push forward. The latter eventually caved. Common sense would dictate this run is going to end for Dalby sooner rather than later, but then again, few thought he'd be in this position.

Dalby defeated Muslim Salikhov via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) at UFC on ESPN 47 on Saturday in Las Vegas.

He got progressively better in Round 2 before blowing Salikhov out of the water in Round 3.
