Rafael Cavalcante:
Light HeavyweightUFC
February 6, 2016
Feijao lost to Ovince Saint Preux via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Considering he was fighting a guy who spent the majority of the bout fighting with one working foot, it was an embarrassing effort for Feijao. He spent an extended period of time on his back and he showed absolutely no urgency or effort to get back to his feet. Feijao entered this fight ranked as a top-15 light heavyweight, but those days are long gone. A loser of three in a row and with just one win in the last four-plus years, Feijao could easily be looking at a release.

Cavalcante (+325) is a healthy underdog for his light heavyweight fight against Ovince St. Preux that will take place at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Credit Feijao's management team, he has done nothing to earn a fight against a fighter of OSP's caliber, but that's what happens when you fight in a division that has absolutely no depth. Calvalcante has just one win since September 2011, and that came against a nobody in Igor Pokrajac. The former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion is going to have a difficult time getting back into the win column on Saturday.

Cavalcante will face Ovince Saint Preux at UFC 196 on Feb. 6 in Las Vegas, according to UFC Tonight.
ANALYSIS
Cavalcante may be fighting for his relevancy in the promotion, as the 34-year-old is coming off back-to-back losses. Saint Preux will likely be the favorite in this fight, due both to the quality of his resume and a higher ranking in the light heavyweight division.
Rafael Cavalcante: Knocked Out By Patrick Cummins At UFC 190
Light HeavyweightUFC
August 1, 2015
Feijao lost to Patrick Cummins via TKO at 0:45 of Round 3 at UFC 190 on Saturday in Rio de Janeiro.
ANALYSIS
Feijao did his fair share of damage (both of Cummins' eyes were swollen shut by the time the fight was over), but he just couldn't handle the pace and wrestling ability of Cummins. Feijao gave up eight takedowns and he spent the vast majority of the contest on his back. The end came when Cummins pummeled an exhausted Feijao with a ton of elbows to the head. He has big knockout power, but the rest of his game isn't very impressive. He falls to 1-3 in the UFC. It will be an uphill battle for the 35-year-old Feijao to turn his career around.

May 25, 2015
Cavalcante will face Patrick Cummins at UFC 190 on August 1 in Rio de Janeiro, MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
This will be Feijao's fourth UFC bout. He was forced to withdraw from his last scheduled fight, in November against Ovince Saint Preux with a shoulder injury. The former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion will be looking for his second UFC win. He hasn't fought since June of last year (a unanimous decision loss to Ryan Bader).
