Wood lost to A.J. McKee via unanimous decision (29-27, 30-25, 30-27) at Bellator 166 on Friday in Thackerville, Okla.
ANALYSIS
A lot of late money came in on Wood. His odds moved from +540 to +365. Early on, it looked like he was going to pull the upset. In the first round, he landed a jumping knee and threatened with a tight guillotine. However, in the next two rounds, McKee went back to his wrestling roots and dominated the fight. Wood was game, but he simply could not deal with the wrestling of McKee.
