Reginaldo Vieira

Drops second UFC fight in a row
BantamweightUFC
February 19, 2017
Vieira lost to Aiemann Zahabi via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night in Halifax.
ANALYSIS
Vieira was the much more active fighter in this fight. He continually pushed the pace in the striking game and worked for takedowns. However, he was not accurate enough to consistently land strikes. Towards the end of each round, Zahabi would turn up his volume and basically steal the round. Vieira will need to improve his striking accuracy to keep his place in the UFC. Since winning the fourth season of "The Ultimate Fighter" Vieira has lost two fights in a row.

Reginaldo Vieira: Wins Decision, New TUF: Brazil Bantamweight Champion
BantamweightUFC
August 1, 2015
Vieira defeated Dileno Lopes via unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-27) in The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil bantamweight final at UFC 190 on Saturday in Rio de Janeiro.
ANALYSIS
It certainly wasn't a technical fight, but it sure was entertaining. Both fighters gave it everything they had and it was a closer fight than the two 30-27 scores would have indicated. There's a fairly high chance that this victory will be the highlight of Vieira's MMA career. He's already 32-years-old and he doesn't appear to have the technical skills to beat the better fighters in the bantamweight division.
